BE AUTHENTIC, BE YOURSELF AND DARE TO LEAD

Where there is no vision, the people perish. — Proverbs 29:18

BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE

Often times we demand change to happen. But have we been grown to make a breakthrough and initiate that change?

If we are still silent and more demanding but not doing anything, then how can a change happen?

Without a vision, humans will disappear, without a purpose in life we will never be able to live well. Because if we lose hope, then we will die.

Is it that scary?

Possibly so, because life has to move, everything will change, but make sure we are the changes, we are the initiators and we are the ones making the changes.

Today I will tell you about how we should be able to lead our own lives, then we will lead the people closest to us to move together and move towards a better change.

I used to constantly think, being a leader means that you have to be able to please everyone, you have to be great and you have to be very smart.

As time goes by, as I grow older, I realize that a true leader is a leader who can bring change, who can invite everyone around him to feel the success they feel, not only ordering and command, but together to walk in a better direction.

Being a leader for change doesn’t have to be a president, minister, governor or mayor. We can start with ourselves. Starting from the smallest things, discipline with yourself.

We have to lead ourselves, get rid of laziness, do everything, productively, and not neglect our duties.

These simple things can be a way for us to continue to grow and can be our provision to become leaders with greater responsibility in the future.

Because for me a true leader is someone who is able to bridge the gap of differences of opinion, can maximize the potential of everyone around them, and can invite people around them to be more empowered.

Leaders mean they must be able to serve, because true leaders are not those who only rule, but also have to protect and prosper.

The first responsibility of a leader is to define reality. The last is to say thank you. In between, the leader is a servant. — Max DePree

EMPOWERING

If you are bossy and tell other people to do something, then you are not the leader, but you are the boss.

On the other hand, if you invite your team to move together and maximize their respective potential and can empower them, then you are a leader.

Because true leaders will always be there for their team. True leaders will invite their team to advance together, whereas people who have power but only rule, usually only have followers, not a team they can grow up with.

So what can we do if this happens to us?
If we are in a position as superiors and have a team to be able to help our performance, then we should invite them to learn to achieve common goals. Not by ordering and ordering.

But precisely map the potential and abilities of each. Give them space to be creative and direct them if they don’t understand.

But if we are team members and we have a boss who is bossy and tells us to do this, then we need to invite them to have a good discussion, tell us about our condition, our inconvenience.

If they refuse to change and stay like that, then we have to make that change happen. Keep following his orders, but we show our firm stance to them.

Show how our relationship with the team members who are under his command, and how our attitude to those who lead us, the leaders will be aware and see the inconvenience that occurs there.

Before you are a leader, success is all about growing yourself. When you become a leader, success is all about growing others. — Jack Welch

DON’T WAIT, START IT NOW

If you already know how to do, now is a good time to take steps. Don’t wait till tomorrow. Start today, because if you keep delaying it, then you will continue to be like that, never having the courage to do it.

Get rid of all that doubt. Failure and success is only a measure, at least if you start you will know the results, if you fail you will learn, if you succeed you can make a good habit that brings change.

It doesn’t matter if you find it tough when you are just starting, starting to be regular, starting to organize yourself which may have become bad habits, such as laziness and the attitude of often delaying work.

If you slowly but surely and keep doing it, then all will be good. The process is not easy, but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible.

And then move according to your speed, don’t be too forced, but consistently run. Shifting for the better is a challenge, then conquer and win over yourself.

The challenge of leadership is to be strong, but not rude; be kind, but not weak; be bold, but not bully; be thoughtful, but not lazy; be humble, but not timid; be proud, but not arrogant; have humor, but without folly. — Jim Rohn
