BREAK DOWN THE WALLS, SO THAT WE CAN BREAKTHROUGH IN THE CREATIVITY

Chase the vision, not the money, the money will end up following you.– Tony Hsieh, Zappos CEO

START UP

When I was a child, I always dreamed of being a Police or Army, then changed my desire to become a doctor, then wanted to be President and some very common dreams at that time.

All those dreams are always changing, but always around it, yes, all the most common professions around us. The profession that I aspire to be something that my family and also my close relative often tell me, that these professions are very great and cool.

‘TilI I grew up, went to college and graduated.

When I graduated from college, none of my childhood dreams that I finally chose as my professional career in the marketplace.

The beginning of my career was working in a multinational company. I worked there for more than two years. There are many challenges that I have passed, but the different work atmosphere makes me feel at home. Plus, being able to travel around town makes me happy to be working there.

After 2 years I worked there, I finally decided to resign and move to a new company. Intend to find a new work atmosphere.

But this company is a startup company, which has just been established, even when I joined the number of employees had not reached 50 people.

Doubt? Certainly. In my mind, there are doubts, because I left a multinational company and chose to move to a startup.

But in 2017, there were many startup companies that were developing well. So there is also optimism in my heart that this startup where I work will develop well.

I feel a lot of changes here. I have lots of new habits to adapt to. But still fun and give me a lot of experience.

If you watch one of the Netflix series entitled “Start Up” you will definitely understand how a start-up company in the first place would be very struggling.

But even though struggling, there are some things that have been learned and so an irreplaceable experience here.

First, I become more multitasking, can do anything and can do many new things even though it is outside my work range, but as long as I can help to achieve common goals, then I will help solve it.

Second, I am more creative, because of the many responsibilities I carry out, I am becoming more and more creative to be able to do everything effectively and efficiently, making use of everything that is available to combine it into out of the box output.

Third, I studied family matters here. Because the number of employees is not too many, finally I can get to know them personally, this is very fun, because we share food with each other, share gifts over the weekend or if someone comes home from vacation.

Fourth, I learned to never be satisfied and keep growing. Because my little achievements will continue to be a spur to develop.

Fifth, I learned time management, because everything can be done anywhere and anytime, there is no fixed time and it can be done remotely, so I have to be able to manage time better so that I don’t get stuck with deadlines and tasks that have to be done at the same time.

I learned these things at the start-up company where I work, and I actually learned a lot more, but here are some of them that you can also apply in your workplace.

The value of an idea lies in the using of it.– Thomas Edison, General Electric Co-founder

COWORKING SPACE

After working in a startup company for about 4 years, I feel more comfortable and can manage a lot of my time and activities and can better manage my stress.

The first thing that made me feel comfortable was that I didn’t have to come to the office if my job didn’t require me to come to the office.

If the work could be done remotely, I would choose comfortable places to work. Such as a comfortable coworking space, cafe, or restaurant that can work remotely and is supported by a fast internet network so that my work is not interrupted.

It turned out that being able to work remotely and finding new places made me more productive and lots of new ideas were flowing. I feel more comfortable with this way of working.

In fact, in the last few years, a lot of coworking spaces have grown rapidly in various regions.

This allows us to choose the most comfortable place for us to work and pour new creative ideas. Without being tied to a certain place, especially cubical in the office, which sometimes makes us tired and even stressed.

We are our choices. Build yourself a great story. — Jeff Bezos, Amazon Founder

YOUNG AND FREE

I’ve always felt that this youth is the perfect time to try everything.

I left my comfort zone, left a multinational company and chose to join a startup. This is not an easy choice, it is very challenging and makes me doubtful.

But I know, youth can never be repeated, I always want to try new things and I always emphasize myself, it’s good to try and fail than never to try and regret later.

Startup companies may not be able to promise us success, because their growth depends on the team in them. We participate in building the startup company.

It could be that in the middle of the road the company failed and went bankrupt. But remember, the experience and life lessons in it can never be exchanged and priceless.

Maybe this is not my comfort zone, that’s how I feel. But aren’t tough sailors not formed on still waves?

So while you still have the enthusiasm to try and the enthusiasm to pursue your dreams, don’t hesitate to leave your comfort zone.

Joining a startup company or building your own startup might be a challenge as well as add value to your life.

Price is what you pay. Value is what you get. — Warren Buffet, Berkshire Hathaway Chairman
